4C 등급 중 중량(Carat weight) 란?

중량은 다이아몬드의 크기를 말하는 등급입니다. 중량을 표기하는 단위는 Carat이며, 약자 'ct' 로 표기합니다.

중량의 표준 단위는‘매트릭 캐럿(Matric Carat)’이다. 1ct = 0.2g이며, 100포인트(Point)로 나뉜다. 만약 다른 등급이 같다면 중량이 많이 나가는 다이아몬드 일수록 가치가 높습니다.
